Maureen Hogan was attacked after a night out in Bradford
On Saturday, 28th August, 1976, housewife Maureen Hogan went for a night out in Bradford.
Maureen Hogan spent time in the Europa Club before she moved on to the Pentagon nightclub in the heart of Bradford.
Maureen left the Pentagon nightclub at approximately 1.30am to start the walk home.
Maureen Hogan was viciously attacked and left in a shop doorway. A milkman found her unconscious some five hours later. Maureen was taken to Bradford Royal Infirmary where examination showed she had severe head injuries and multiple stab wounds to her abdomen.
Although Maureen's injuries were very similar to those sustained by Wilma McCann and Emily Jackson, this attack was not considered to be one of the Yorkshire Ripper's.
Maureen, 39, survived the attack but could not provide a description of her attacker.
